How LocalWebMates handles your information. Last updated: July 2026.

LocalWebMates ("we", "us") builds and hosts websites and AI chat assistants for local businesses. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to do that, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Enquiries: when you use a contact or free-preview form, we collect the name, business, email, phone and message you provide.
• Chat messages: if you use the on-site assistant, the messages in that conversation may be stored so we can improve support and follow up on enquiries.
• Basic technical data: standard server logs (e.g. page requested, rough time) needed to run and secure the site.

How we use it

• To reply to you, build your preview, and provide and support your website.
• To take payment for services you've agreed to.
• We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the service: our hosting provider (Vercel), our database (Supabase), the AI provider that powers the assistant (Google Gemini), and our payment processor (Stripe) when you buy. Each only receives what's necessary.

Cookies

We use only essential storage needed for the site and chat to work. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, at any time. Just email us and we'll action it.
